Resembling a hallucination following one mulled wine too many, over 200 sponsored Santas dashed along Bexhill seafront on Sunday 4 December to fundraise for the local Lions club’s charitable causes. Starting from the De La Warr Pavilion, entrants – including runners, wheelchair users and walkers, many accompanied by children and dogs – completed either a 2.5 or 5km route on the promenade.

Event organiser, Pam Edwards, said: “This fantastic, fun-filled event was a great way to get the whole family, friends, school groups, work colleagues and sports clubs in the festive spirit.”
