The organisers are pleased to announce:

Since 2012, this festival has been a Bank Holiday mainstay for East Sussex. Having started small, it now attracts more than ten thousand visitors a year from all over the UK and abroad. It aims to provide a spectrum of events – many of them free – to showcase both well-established bands and new ones. This year is no different.

This year’s line-up is gloriously eclectic and international. There are gorgeous singers – including  Laura Mvula, Ruby Turner, Nashville rocker Mike Farris, jazz/soul singer Mario Biondi, and multi-talented award-winner Joe Stilgoe (son of Richard, for Radio 4 listeners).  There are fine bands playing at St Mary’s Church: the Brand New Heavies, Will Collier’s Chet Baker Project, Collette Cooper, Kitty LaRoar. There are free events at The Ship: Martin McNeill, Jeff Horsey, Roger Hubbard, The Terry Seabrook Jazz Trio. There’s live music at The Old Bell, the William The Conqueror, and The Lookout. The rest of the free events take place on the terrace of the Kino Cinema.

It promises to be a fine weekend in all senses.
