Uninvited: The Language of Cancer
The Peripheral Space Project would like to remind you all that this coming weeken d you are invited to, ‘Uninvited’, a series of paintings by Helen Slater expressing and exploring her journey along breast cancer. Also included are a number of discussion sessions on ‘The Language of Cancer’ and interactive sessions where Helen will walk through the timeline of her journey.
The event is open to all, as is the interactive discussion – for example, Is it a fight? How important is self-talk? This weekend is the last chance to see this unique show, and Helen hopes to see you there.
The weekend is hosted by The Peripheral Space Project, an informal artist-led space which aims to work co-operatively and non-hierarchically. It is sited in an old warehouse at 37 Earl Street.
