Poetry Corner: And all because you ignored a comma
ALISON YOUNG
I started to write you a message but I couldn’t think what to say;
I wrote, “Hi,” your name, and pressed send by mistake
But you didn’t wait to see what I had to say –
You replied with a message of your own
And that was how it started – and how glad I am;
And all because you ignored a comma
