Ye Olde Rock’n’Raise notches up £3k for Hospice
Staff at the popular Old Town pub Ye Olde Pumphouse organised a night of live music in memory of late local musician Phil Gill, raising a whopping £3,000 for St Michaels Hospice.

Leading local talents including Marlin Moon, Our Royal Displeasure, Elisha Edwards, Jack, Ben and George from Kid Kapichi, Ben Maier and Victoria McDonnell entertained a packed house all night, with Sam Willett acting as host.
One of the organisers, Alan Barwell, commented, “We would like to thank all of the local businesses and patrons that donated towards this special event. In true Hastings spirit, there are too many to mention. Special thanks go to Alfie Rolph, Jack Parrymore, Lee London, Tallulah, Eliza and all of the staff at the Pumphouse.”
We hope you have enjoyed reading this article. The future of our volunteer led, non-profit publication would be far more secure with the aid of a small donation. You can also support local journalism by becoming a friend of HIP. It only takes a minute and we would be very grateful.
