Last Chance to Catch Seaside Yarn Trail
The handcrafted yarn creations which have delighted residents and visitors while on display throughout Hastings Old Town are now on show together at St Michael’s Hospice, St Leonards.

The exhibition offers a last opportunity for the public to see the colourful seaside-themed artworks before they are sold through the group’s online auction. The collection can be viewed daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm, excluding Thursdays, until Saturday 27 September, when the auction closes.
Each unique creation has been crafted by talented members of the Yarnbombers for St Michael’s Hospice group and forms part of a fundraising initiative supporting the work of the hospice. All 18 pieces are available to bid on through the online auction, and every bid will contribute directly to the hospice’s ongoing work supporting patients and families across Hastings and Rother.
Linda Revill from the Fundraising team at St Michael’s hopes people will take this opportunity to see this unique collection, choose their favourite and go on to place a bid, “knowing that every pound raised will help support the care provided by St Michael’s Hospice”.
Whether visitors have followed the trail through Hastings Old Town from the beginning or are discovering the creations for the first time, this is a last chance to see the collection before the artworks go.
