Of course, since writing the above, events have rather scuppered our chances of singing together for health. Regular meetings of choirs have been put on hold and no-one is sure when the singers will be able to get back together again. But fear not, many of you will have seen heartening footage of self-isolating people on their balconies and it looks as if such opportunities will be available to us soon.
