The Old King John (OKJ) team trounced their nearest challengers Jenny Lind B 5-0 in a home win earlier this month, assuring themselves of the Hastings League title.  

Captain Chris Lamb‘s five-man team recorded an aggregate of 22,690 points, Roger Andrews top-scoring with 6,200 including one break of 3,000. In the only close contest of the evening the scores were neck and neck as the bar came down, and Mark Bailey of OKJ needed a final ‘200’ shot with the red, deftly accomplished, to overhaul Andy Horsler of Jenny Lind.

The contest for second place remains to be resolved, with the Stag and Ashburnham Arms gaining recent victories against respective A and B teams of the Jenny Lind.
