Troika Projects, the local consortium appointed by Hastings BC to develop the West Hill Cafe and Castle Project, have applied for planning permission to set up and run a “mobile food and beverage kiosk” on the site.

In addition to selling food and drinks, the kiosk will provide a point of contact for the pending development of the new visitor centre that will be built in place of the now closed West Hill Cafe. The temporary prefabricated kiosk will operate only until the new visitor centre is completed, at which point it will be integrated into the visitor centre’s café.
