WHOLESOME KITCHEN BY HOLLY JOHNSON
I’ve been concocting, blending and taste-testing smoothies with a great deal of gusto over the past few years and this is one of my all-time favourite flavour combinations.

Smoothie-making with kids is so much fun. They can create their own blends and it’s a great way of getting them to eat some of their 5-a-day if they’re normally not too keen on fruit.

For this recipe you will need
1 x handful of raspberries,
1 x handful of almonds,
3 x tbsp of coconut nectar,
3 x tbsp of coconut yogurt,
3 x tbsp gluten-free oats,
water, ice.

Blend until smooth, creamy and luscious and serve in receptacle of choice.

• Top tip: If you have any leftover smoothie mix, pop into an ice tray and use as the base for your next delicious blend.

Happy blending!
