Disorientation descends
A confusion midst euphoria
And when this haze-cloud ends
My focus forms to flesh
Absurdity of skin and sinew
Perceiving from a lens, organic
Specific to my mind’s own bias
Unable to encompass all
We deaden down to nothingness
Spreading ourselves thin
For nothing is closer to everything
Than anything betweenHIPJasonEllis[email protected]AdministratorHastings Independent Press
