Wot Italian? Forcione and Graffoe
After 20 years, award-winning comedian Boothby Graffoe and Italian guitar legend Antonio Forcione are reuniting for Wot Italian?, a new tour that brings high art and high comedy together on one stage.

Graffoe draws audiences in with relatable, oddly surreal stories, which are perfectly complemented by Forcione’s jaw dropping musical mastery. Seamlessly weaving perfectly crafted comic songs, unforgettable banter, and tender ballads into one spontaneous and deeply refined experience, Wot Italian? promises an eclectic evening. Audiences can see two masters – of world-class acoustic music and alternative comedy – together in an exceptional show.
Boothby Graffoe is a multi-award-winning British comedian, writer, and performer known for his intelligent wordplay, surreal humour, and unpredictable stage presence. A staple of the alternative comedy circuit and a frequent contributor to radio and TV, Graffoe blurs the line between stand-up and theatrical storytelling, drawing audiences into narratives that are as thoughtful as they are hilarious.
Born in Italy, Antonio Forcione is an internationally-lauded guitarist and composer. With a career spanning global tours and over 20 albums, he has spent decades developing a unique, genre-defying musical language that incorporates jazz, classical, flamenco, and world music. He is widely recognised as one of the most innovative and expressive acoustic guitarists of his generation.
The show is part of a 27-venue UK tour running throughout September, October, and November. Full dates and bookings are available at wotitalian.com.
