Local charity The Bright Foundation is inviting young people between the ages of 11-19 to join the Benbow Youth Film Collective. During these weekly gatherings they will explore filmmaking techniques such as animation, creating sound FX and music for film, lighting, and screenwriting. The hope is that this will ignite a passion and enable those who wouldn’t normally have access to this kind of opportunity to pursue a career in the industry.  The courses are run by Film Programme Learning Leader, Will Davies. Will has filmed in over 25 countries and is co-director of local production company, Whalebone Films. Joining Will over the six weeks will be a range of industry professionals who will be invited to share their skills and experiences with the students.

11-14 years – Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm.
16-19 years – Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm
