Electric Palace virtual film quiz
As part of its reopening plans, The Electric Palace cinema in Hastings Old Town is holding an “energetic” online quiz via Zoom on Friday 30th April,
at 8pm.
The cinema has newly installed cameras and says that “attendees will be transported to the plush, velvety decadence of the Electric Palace cinema” for “a night of film-related frivolity”.
“With lots of different genres covered, there’s a round to suit all cinematic tastes – your hosts, Electric Palace staff Sean Hollebon, Jamie Sellers, and Annie Waite will be delighted to welcome you along the virtual red carpet!”
As well as a night of fun, there are prizes to be won, some donated by local businesses including Brewing Brothers at The Imperial and Barbeau’s Batcave.
How to join the quiz:
Email [email protected] with ‘April Film Quiz’ in the subject line and include your email address. The cinema will then send you a link to join the quiz on Zoom.
The event is free to register, but donations are welcome to help the cinema reopen at the end of May.
