A new wellness studio for mums has launched in Hastings. Wise Mamas is the first wellness studio in Hastings to cater for and support mothers – and they happily welcome children as well!
Starting in March 2024 as a pop-up, class-based service, it has now benefited over 150 local women, filling a critical gap left by post-natal care. Founded by a local midwife and specialist trainers, Wise Mamas offers strength training, fitness classes, specialist treatments and holistic support when it is most needed.
The service hopes to further benefit the mothers of Hastings with its own spacious venue. This offers not only a gym for the mothers, but an in-gym play area for their little ones and even their slightly bigger ones – meaning mums can rest easy as they attend their fitness class, postnatal programme, pregnancy massage therapy, midwifery care, or one of the many other things Wise Mamas has to offer.
The launch event on the 11th of January saw the grand opening of the children’s play area by the Do It For Josh charity, a tour of the new venue and a fitness demonstration.
Mums are at the heart of this service, which aims to break down the barrier of childcare, while offering ongoing and accessible support.
The new Wise Mamas venue is located off the Battle Road at 14-16 Maunsell Road on the Castleham Industrial Estate.
