Go mad and Support St Michael’s Hospice by celebrating Yellow Week, Monday 21 – Sunday 27 February 2022. With lots of resources and support available – including collection pots or buckets, event posters, bunting, children’s activity sheets and fundraising ideas – there’s something for everyone.

Yellow Week is very important for St Michael’s Hospice: it helps raise awareness of the services they provide to those living with, or affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement, as well as helping raise essential funds and awareness of their vital hospice services.

So, whether it’s a yellow themed dress-up day, a yellow cake sale, a yellow cocktail/mocktail party, raffle or even a sponsored yellow beard competition, there’s plenty of ways to get involved and raise vital funds for the hospice. Turn your passion or hobby into a fundraiser for the hospice this February!

Every penny really does help, with 91p of every £1 donated going directly to patient care. There were far fewer fundraising events in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, so all your efforts are greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact the hospice Fundraising team on [email protected], they would love to hear from you.

We hope you have enjoyed reading this article. The future of our volunteer led, non-profit publication would be far more secure with the aid of a small donation. You can also support local journalism by becoming a friend of HIP. It only takes a minute and we would be very grateful.
