HIP will be celebrating ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ on 17 February by publishing a selection of stories you wish to share with us. This global movement started in Denver, Colorado over 30 years ago and has had its own day of celebration since 2004.

With Hastings already known as ‘quirky central’, we’re sure there must be many curious tales of unexpected generosity of spirit. We’d love to hear them. And maybe reading those  stories will encourage you to do something randomly kind and thoughtful on the days leading up to 17 February or on the day itself.
