Etienne Cutmore-Kourouma and Catherine Rajhans, members of ExploreTheArch’s early career team leading the project

The concert will take place in the Four Courts Wellbeing Hub, Sydney Close, St Leonards. Live music from Cai Jones on violin, Catherine Rajhans and Elizabeth Rajhans on harp will be accompanied by new and archival photography of the Four Courts curated by Etienne Cutmore-Kourouma and Rod Morris.

This event will be of interest to anyone living in the area who is not familiar with this significant historical and heritage area of St Leonards. The tour and concert introduces Four Courts Connect, an Autumn project celebrating the history and stories of this community in Wishing Tree ward.

Local residents Etienne Cutmore-Kourouma and Yasmin Aishah are leading this Autumn project from ExploretheArch, tracing the history of the buildings, people’s memories and experiences and celebrating with community activities. The project is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Hastings Voluntary Action’s Making it Happen funding and Southern Housing.

Please email [email protected] with any historical insights or personal stories about the Four Courts, we’d love to hear from you. ExploreTheArch is a not-for-profit, global majority-led company exploring domestic life in international experiential theatre performance and site-specific installation.
