Hang Out with the Conquest Hospital Radio Crew
Conquest Hospital Radio is hosting a fundraiser at Hastings & St Leonards Angling Club on 21st March to raise funds for the station. Wavebands runs from 3pm to 11pm and has a great line up of bands headlined by Stormy T and Bluesman’s Lane.
The hospital radio is a charity run by volunteers, some of whom raise funds throughout the year for the hospital. On this occasion it is raising money to keep itself on air. There is a raffle with great prizes, including stand up paddleboarding lessons, clothing vouchers and beauty vouchers, all donated by local companies.
There will also be an auction with Kevin Wall from Rye Auction Galleries at the helm. You can bid on a Pete Frame limited edition Beatles timeline, a painting by well-known local watercolour artist Susan Miller, and a day’s labour from Andyhandyman. The auction starts at 6pm followed by the raffle: buy your raffle tickets from The Drift In café in Queens Road or on the day.
As well as the great selection of bands, dancing will continue into the night with DJs Vinyl Tap, Feebs and Tony Davis.
So bring your dancing shoes and some spare pennies to help them help the local community.
