Get Ready to Sing Big at the Big Sing
St Michael’s Hospice has announced the return of its Big Sing event. It’s set to be a spectacular celebration of music and community and takes place on Saturday 12 October 2024 from 10am to 10pm – that’s 12 hours filled with beautiful harmonies, joy and support for your local hospice.
The great thing about the Big Sing is its variety and relaxed atmosphere. You can come and go during the day at will and hear a diverse range of musical genres. With twenty choirs performing back-to-back, there’s no shortage of entertainment. In the past, the event has included classical, acappella, folk and world music, reggae, punk and rock. Each choir brings their own unique sound and energy, meaning there will be something for everyone. It’s also a perfect place to come if you are thinking of joining a local choir, but can’t decide which one to join.
Drinks, delicious cakes and tasty treats will be available to provide sustenance for a full day of singing for the choirs, but also for you to enjoy during their performances. And of course, there will be fantastic prizes to be won at the hospice’s raffle.
This event offers an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and help raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice, which supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss.
