Free Inheritance Tax Information Session
St Michael’s Hospice is inviting Hastings and Rother residents to join them at their next free will-writing information session, which focuses on inheritance tax and how to plan confidently for the future.
The session will take place from 10.00am-12.00pm on Wednesday 30 September at the Arthur Easton Centre, St Michael’s Hospice, TN38 0LB, and will be led by Rhiannon Gossedge-Jones, Wealth Management Partner at True Potential Wealth Management.
Designed for those who have already written a will or are beginning to think about what they want to leave behind, the session aims to provide straightforward guidance on what can often feel like a complex and daunting subject. Attendees will gain practical information on:
- Inheritance Tax thresholds
- Upcoming changes relating to pensions
- Lifetime gifting
- Inheritance Tax rules, including what may need to be paid and when
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions following the presentation.
Perdita Chamberlain, Individual Giving Manager at the Hospice, says: “Inheritance Tax can be a difficult topic to navigate, but understanding the basics can make a real difference when planning for the future. This free session will provide clear, accessible information to help people make informed decisions and better understand their options.”
The event is free to attend, but booking in advance is required: stmichaelshospice.com/giftsinwills or call 01424 456396.
