Free Hastings WiFi Network Upgraded
Hastings’ free WiFi network has been renewed for another three years, giving residents, visitors, event organisers and businesses near an antenna unlimited free access to a high-speed WiFi network.
The network is available for use along parts of the seafront and town centre through to the train station.
If you are close to an antenna, just connect your phone or device by clicking on Hastings is online in your available network settings. Information on where the network is available, and how to get online can be found on the Hastings Borough Council website: www.hastings.gov.uk/my-council/wifi-network
Cllr Paul Barnett, lead councillor for Regeneration, says: “I’m very pleased… the free WiFi network will continue to be available for a further three years. With help from a grant via the Welcome Back funding, the network has had an upgrade with faster speeds and an improved service to make using it for things like live streaming easier.”
