Bonfire Society Auction
Hastings Borough Bonfire will be holding their now annual Auction on Thursday 3 August 2023 at the Hastings & St Leonards Angling Association on Marine Parade (by the Miniature Railway Station). All money raised on the night will go towards this year’s grand event on the 14 October.
Hastings Borough Bonfire Society members work hard to raise money throughout the year in order to put on this big event for the town; however, it would not be possible without the support of local companies and individuals who help us with valuable products and services.
The Society would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the auction, with almost 60 fantastic lots available. Lots include:
- Revive Exterior Cleaning (previously GWC cleaning)
– a £500 cleaning package - R. Hawes Tree Care, who generously offered two hours of their time with a three-man team of Arborists
- £100 flooring voucher from Kiley’s Karpets
- a rare opportunity for two people (18+) to learn how to make horseshoes with Mark the Farrier from the BBC 2 TV series Love in the Countryside
- And many more, including vouchers for local shops and businesses, an overnight B&B stay, pieces of Hastings Bonfire history, beautifully handcrafted homewares, and local paintings.
Special thanks also goes out to the Hastings & St Leonards Angling Association for hosting this event.
Reserve bids may be made on any item, if you are unable to attend on the night. Bids must reach the fundraising team at [email protected] before the start of the auction. Please visit hbbs.info for more details.
