Savour and Sip Local: Food, Wine and Music by the Sea
The Hastings Seafood, Wine and Music Festival returns to Hastings from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 September 2025. Now in its second year as an independently-run event, it is proudly organised by Stade Events CIC, a local not-for-profit group passionate about celebrating everything that makes Hastings special: our community, culture and coast.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an array of seafood–from lobster and oysters to classic fish and chips to sizzling paella. In addition, there will be locally baked goodies, tacos, sweet crepes and hearty pies on offer. All washed down with locally sourced wines, craft beers and non-alcoholic cocktails.

The weekend will feature demonstrations from C. J. Jackson, affectionately known as “The Fish Boss” who is an experienced seafood educator from Billingsgate Seafood School. Her sessions will be delivered alongside local luminary and herring enthusiast Tush Hamilton, with a focus on sustainable seafood and Hastings’ local catch.
Alongside the food and drink, the weekend will showcase over 15 incredible live bands from across the spectrum from Ska, Soul, Funk, Folk, and Jazz to Blues and Rock, with a not- to-be- missed performance from English jazz vocalist, pianist and keyboardist, Liane Carroll, who returns for Jazz Breakfast on Sunday at the Stade Open Space.
This three-day celebration brings together the best of artisan food from across East Sussex, live music, the finest local wines and craft brews, all set within the unmistakable energy of Hastings Old Town.
Come hungry. Come ready to dance.
