Hastings Arts Forum is hosting a warm winter salon this year. Besides a curated exhibition of affordable prints, artists books, cards, poetry, small paintings, textiles and ceramics, this his year they welcomed Ed Boxall, who hosted a storytelling event: Warm Glows and Polar Bears on Sun 30 November and offered a sale of his books, cards and prints. There will be an open mic session for poetry on 4 December, to which everyone is welcome to contribute.

A selection of works by exhibition artists is also on display. All artworks on display have been selected from those by our members, with an appropriate winter palette of colours and themes. If you’ve never visited this little, friendly gem of a gallery on the seafront at St Leonards, now is an excellent time to do so.

Event runs 26 Nov – 19 Dec. Open Evening: 28 Nov 6pm – 8pm. Poetry Open Mic: Thur 4 Dec: 7.30 – 9.30pm. Warm glows and Polar Bears: Story Telling with Ed Boxall Sun 30 Nov 2 – 3pm. Gallery Open 11am – 5pm Wed – Sun, 20 Marine Court St Leonards. All details: hastingsartsforum.co.uk
