Hastings Arts Forum, the long-standing quality arts collective, is staging two new exhibitions this month. The first, Smalls! HAF Small Works is on until 19 September, and reflects its title. Illustrated here is a small painting by Nina Payne.

The second exhibition is Gathered Earth, showing between 16 and 27 September, with an open evening on 18 September. This is a collective exhibition by women ceramicists from East Sussex, with exhibiting artists Annika Aril, Fiona Dean, Sheila Hay, Izumi Maeda, Lorri Scott and Marina Wade.
