News from Heart of Hastings!
Still not clear what the Trinity Triangle is and where it came from? Heart of Hastings (HoH) have just launched a community archive with everything you need to know. The website is designed to share your memories, photos and more, in the style of the wonderful, volunteer-run, Hastings Pier Archive www.hastingspierarchive.org.uk
But if you want a potted history, the new website describes it thus: “… home to the story of the America Ground rebels, Victorian and Edwardian buildings, the iconic Observer Building and the beautifully renovated library. The residents of the area are diverse, and it is home to many small, independent businesses and a growing number of creative people live and work in the area.”
HoH is looking for help with contributions of stories associated with Trinity Triangle and America Ground so take a look at www.trinitytrianglehastings.org.uk and get in touch.

Heart of Hastings is also launching a survey to get more information about what the public thinks of the area to help them deliver the regeneration programme and keep their funders informed. One year into the Trinity Triangle Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) programme, they have had the opportunity to fund some wonderful cultural and community projects so feedback is always welcome.
They have also been investigating the condition of the beautiful heritage buildings – with the help of volunteers, consultants, residents and business owners – as well as looking at the streetscape, thinking about planting and street art, and more. All this requires an understanding of how the public view the area.
The survey will help HoH understand how you use the Trinity Triangle now, what you love and what you’d like to change. The HAZ programme is community led and the community is at the heart of all decision making.
