Following on from last year’s success, Hastings and St Leonards’ Sustainability on Sea (SOS) Festival is back – and planned to be bigger
and better.

This year’s event will act as a showcase for local projects and inspire residents of all ages to learn, explore and try the latest in all things environmentally friendly, while having fun of course!

The festival runs between Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th September 2019, with an all-day Big Green Fair – with stalls, information stands, talks, activities for children and entertainment – at the Stade on the last day. Its theme is What We Can Do, encouraging everyone to live more sustainably, in small or big ways.

SoS invites you to participate in any of the following ways:

Add an event or activity to the programme, such as organising workshops, speakers, demonstrations, walks and activities or other events for the week

Take part as an organisation, school, community group, church group, local project or business

Volunteer your time and expertise to help the festival team plan and run the festival

Sign up as a stallholder, information giver or activity for the Big Green Fair

SoS is creating a ‘Green Guide’ directory of local businesses, organisations and services with a commitment to sustainability – whether using local food
or not using plastic. You can add an organisation to the guide yourself by visiting their website.
