Summer has well and truly found its groove and these three recipes will keep you nourished and glowing, as well as totally hydrated, on these rather lovely, sunny days! 

They are crammed with essential vitamins and minerals and with the addition of nuts (protein), they are also nutritionally-balanced, ensuring that you get all the nutrients you require, all in
one chalice!

Strawberries & Cream Smoothie
With the British strawberry season in full-swing, it’d be quite frankly rude not to  put this delicious berry centre-stage. Accompanied by luscious coconut cream, it really is the dreamiest, creamiest smoothie!

You will need: 1 x punnet of fresh strawberries, 3 x heaped tbsp of coconut cream, 3 x level tbsp of coconut sugar, 100g almonds, a sprinkling of goji berries and desiccated coconut, 300ml of coconut water. Blend with ice, adorn with mint and slurp! Simply delicious!

Black Forest Cherry Choc Smoothie
This is one of my all-time favourite blends. I mean, who doesn’t adore the indulgent mix of chocolate and cherries? 

It’s a real crowd-pleaser and if adding a dash of Amaretto takes your fancy, then I wholeheartedly urge you to give it a whirl!

You will need: 1 x cup of frozen cherries, 3 x tsp of raw cacao powder, 1 x tbsp of coconut nectar, 1 x tbsp morello cherry cordial, a sprinkling of cacao nibs, 2 tsp pea protein powder, 300ml coconut water.

Blend until smooth and serve over ice with extra frozen cherries.

Banana & Mango Breakfast Cooler
This blend will keep you bouncing (in a good way) through your morning and your gut bacteria will shout a huge ‘hell yeah!’ 

Keeping our gut bacteria as happy bunnies, this will have positive health benefits that are far-reaching; a vibrant and flourishing gut flora, equates
to a flourishing mind! 

You will need: 1 x frozen banana, 1 x ripe mango, 3 x tbsp coconut nectar, 100g almonds, 3 x tbsp coconut cream, a sprinkling of desiccated coconut. Blend and serve in a flamingo mason jar!
