Hey there HWK Crew! I hope your 2019 is going great so far! I’ve been blending-up a smoothie storm over at HWK HQ and most recently, my delectable and totally nutrilicious smoothie bowls have been hitting all the spots! 

They are so quick and simple to make, and you really can add anything you like. As they’re slightly thicker than a standard smoothie, they’re more substantial (kudos to the frozen banana for making them a creamy dream).

You can adorn, embellish and pimp your bowl in any fashion that suits. I like to add fruit, coconut, edible flowers, frozen berries! The smoothie bowl world really is your lobster!

Winterberry & Oats Smoothie Bowl
Combine in a blender: 
1 x cup of frozen winterberries, 2 x frozen bananas, 100g of GF oats, seeds, water, 1 x tsp of pitaya powder… blend and decorate! 

Greener Colada Smoothie Bowl
Combine in a blender: 
2 x kiwis, 2 x frozen banana, 1 x avocado, 100g of almonds, a sprinkling of GF oats, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk, 1 x tsp of spirulina powder. Pop into your favourite bowl (mine’s my coconut shell bowl) and serve!

Strawberries & Cream Dream Smoothie Bowl
1 x cup of strawberries, 2 x frozen bananas, 1 x cup of frozen raspberries, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk, 3 x tsp of seeds, 100g of cashews, some water to get the mixture going … blend until all ingredients are combined. Add a bit more water if the mix is too thick.
