Rotherview Nursery are celebrating having been awarded a Gold medal at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, ( 21 – 25 May). The award was given for their Floral Pavilion display of handmade hyper-tufa troughs planted with alpines and perennials.

Wendy Bates, of Rotherview Nursery, said of the display: “The troughs were built into a crevice feature. We are the first nursery to present this kind of display at Chelsea. The troughs are unique to us.”

Bates explained: “We are a family business trading for 31 years, we specialise in alpines, ferns and camellias. We have exhibited at all the major RHS shows and achieved gold on several occasions. The nursery is open 7 days a week and we are happy to help and advise our customers.”
