The Sara Lee Trust and the Wellington Health and Wellbeing Centre would like to announce their new partnership which will help to transform the lives of people affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses in Hastings.

The Sara Lee Trust offers free specialist psychotherapy care, counselling and complementary therapies to patients, their families, loved ones and carers across Hastings and Rother.

Having taken part in the inaugural Therapy Month in March 2018 and raised a total of £1,045, the Wellington Health and Wellbeing Centre, based in Wellington Square, is delighted to have been able to fund 41 hours of care through the Sara Lee Trust’s services. They have now become an official business partner of the Trust, and plan to raise at least £1,200 in 2019.

Owners Jo Fairley and Craig Sams said, “We are delighted to be able to support the Sara Lee Trust through this partnership.”

To celebrate, the Centre will be holding a very special Health and Wellbeing event on Sunday 20th January 2019 from 2pm, focussed on giving local people the opportunity to try something new and to find out more about the benefits of complementary therapies. A wide variety of taster sessions will be on offer, including: Indian Head Massage; Reflexology; Allergy Testing; Yoga; Qi Gong; and Alexander Technique.
