Hastings and Rother Furniture Scheme collect unwanted furniture and make it available at reduced cost for people with limited incomes. Their philosophy of making do and mending has led many families and individuals to acquire appliances and furnishings they wouldn’t otherwise have been able to afford.

To celebrate 30 years of trading they are having a Thrift Fest from 10am-4pm on September 22nd, at the Hastings Centre opposite the Conquest Hospital on the Ridge. Book your free tickets in advance.

Go to hfs.org.uk/about/thriftfest for full details.

HFS is a registered charity and social enterprise that has been running since 1988. All funds raised help them to provide training for people who are out of work and invest in expanding and improving their services.
