Sound Waves community choir presents A Medieval Christmas at All Saints Church in All Saints Street. What better setting to enjoy festive acappella singing than in this beautiful 15th century church with its ‘Doom’ painting of Christ seated on a double rainbow with the damned on the right and the redeemed on the left – pick which side of the church you sit on with care!

Once again, the Fipple Consort recorder group will be performing Early Music to enhance the evening as will Steeleye Span drummer, Liam Genockey. Entry is free but we will be taking a collect-ion; all donations will go to
Little Gate Farm, which provides work training for adults with learning disabilities and autism and is Sound Waves’ chosen charity for this year.

Always a popular event, do please come and join us on 17 December and fill yourself with the spirit of Christmas. Doors open at 7pm and the show will last about one hour.

We hope you have enjoyed reading this article. The future of our volunteer led, non-profit publication would be far more secure with the aid of a small donation. You can also support local journalism by becoming a friend of HIP. It only takes a minute and we would be very grateful.
