Counselling Service receives funds to support local residents at risk of suicide
Counselling Plus Community (CPC) has received funding from the Foreshore Trust to support residents of Hastings & St. Leonards at risk of suicide.
Counselling Plus has been established in Hastings & Rother since 1992 and is a well-respected, affordable service, for local residents who are (predominantly) on benefits and low incomes. People access the service for a range of mental health issues, for example: anxiety; depression; loss; bereavement; emotional/sexual/domestic/childhood abuse; identity; self-harm; suicidal thoughts/plans.
• Please see their website www.counsellingplus.org for additional information about services and how to donate.
We hope you have enjoyed reading this article. The future of our volunteer led, non-profit publication would be far more secure with the aid of a small donation. You can also support local journalism by becoming a friend of HIP. It only takes a minute and we would be very grateful.
