Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre in Hastings is holding its first art exhibition from which all proceeds go towards helping local rescue cats in need.

The exhibition is free to view and includes a variety of paintings, prints and photography from local artists. No artwork will cost more than £45 and all purchases will help the charity to continue caring for unwanted, abandoned and stray cats in Hastings and Rother.

Bluebell Ridge is owned and operated by the Sussex East and Hastings Branch of the RSPCA, but is classified as a separate, self-financing charity. It needs to raise over £150,000 each year to keep the centre open and provide services such as rescuing, neutering and finding permanent homes for stray or unwanted cats. It relies heavily on the generosity of local individuals, businesses and groups.

The exhibition will run from Wednesday 14th until Saturday 17th February at The Crypt Gallery in St Mary in the Castle, Hastings, which is open from 10am until 4pm.
