The Titanic Arts Club opens its doors next May Bank holiday for its inaugural art exhibition. Open: Sunday May 27th, Bank Holiday Monday May 28th and Tuesday May 29th from 12 noon to 6pm. Curated by host artist and local resident Louise Whitham. Louise Witham writes.

Gold Bandstand by Kim Batty

The setting is a lovely seafront gallery space which was once a meeting place for militant East Sussex suffragettes. The work from six artists certainly echoes their rebellious spirit. Painting, photography and mixed media work from Kim Batty, Louise Whitham, Laura Harris, Jack Blackburn, Mark Selby and Lulux Clapper. Talks by artists at 3.00pm on Monday 28th May.

Kim, Mark, Lulux and Louise are local artists and the Titanic Arts Club is thrilled to welcome Jack Blackburn and Laura Harris down from London.

This is a free exhibition. It is very informal and will hopefully be the first of many
at this delightful, historic St Leonards address.
