The event will include a talk from one of Extinction Rebellion’s founders Clare Farrell.

There will also be badge making and block printing workshops.

Ruth Gregory, a local artist and XR activist said:“Helping to create “the Polly Higgins” was a very positive experience for me, meeting local people and making a beautiful piece of communal art together was extremely rewarding. We are facing a climate crisis with the potential to destroy the world. This idea is alarming but talking about it to like minded people encourages me to believe that together we can avoid this catastrophe.”
