Eleven artists from around Hastings join together a compelling mix of styles to produce an exhibition on one theme and one theme only: eroticism.

Amazons by Chris Milton

This is not about pornography, it‘s not a peep show, perhaps some will find some elements shocking, but it‘s not out to employ shock tactics. It‘s more about interpretations of passion, very human passion, though often hidden in the closet of taboos. Some feathers have already been ruffled without any images having been posted or circulated in any way, such are the implications surrounding this subject matter. Points of view vary, discretion may be advised, draw your own conclusions.

The artists will employ 2 and 3D visual art, collage, assemblage, graphic, whimsical, dark and abstract forms to explore eroticism and all its avenues. There‘ll also be sound, performance and spoken word at the opening party on Saturday 19th October, from Jill Rock in collaboration with ZuzushiiMonkey, setting light to quite a different kind of blue touch paper. Doors open at 6.30pm. The exhibition runs from the opening Saturday night
to Saturday 2nd November. Zuzushii Art Laboratory is at 26 White Rock, Hastings TN34 1JY.
