I wonder if you could help me. I am doing a journalism course and now researching the Brexit fishing deal as it effects the Hastings fleet. (I live in Hastings by the way) Polly Toynbee in Tuesday’s Guardian (19.1.19) quoted Paul Joy from the fleet who said that the deal had ‘betrayed’ British fishing.
Does the HIP have a view on it? It seems a complicated sort of deal – has the paper covered it?
