Paradise Found Pineapple Smoothie
Fresh, zingy and zesty! This beautiful smoothie blend is jam-packed full of vitamins and minerals to make you feel energised, hydrated and rejuvenated.
Pineapple is amazing for skin health; it has anti-inflammatory properties and it will boost and fortify the immune system.
I always add nuts to my smoothies to reduce the GI (which helps to prevent blood sugar levels from spiking).
To make this nutrilicious concoction of delight, you will need:
• Half a fresh, chopped pineapple
• 1 x frozen banana
• 1 x passionfruit
• 1 x lime (juice)
• 2 x tbsp desiccated coconut
• 3 x tbsp coconut nectar
• 100g almonds
• Coconut water
(to cover ingredients)
• Sprig of fresh mint.
Blend, serve over ice and enjoy (preferably in the sunshine).
